Buffalo Veterans Treatment Court
Honoring sacrifices made for our country, Buffalos Veterans Treatment Court serves as an alternative to the traditional legal system with the purpose of keeping Veterans out of jail who are non-violent offenders. Working closely with VA, Judge Robert Russell and his staff help Veterans successfully deal with personal issues they sometimes face after military service. Buffalo was the first city in the nation to establish a veterans court in 2008. Since then over 175 veterans courts have been established around the country.
